Tucked along the quiet shoreline of Doe Lake, this newly built five-bedroom cottage is our take on what a Muskoka getaway should feel like in 2026 — bright, uncluttered, and built around the water. Step inside and the open-concept main floor opens up beneath soaring cathedral ceilings, with floor-to-ceiling windows pulling the lake right into the room. Walkout doors lead onto an expansive deck where the BBQ, lounge furniture, and your morning coffee all share the same view. Down at the dock, two kayaks are waiting. After dark, the firepit takes over.

At the heart of the home is a true chef's kitchen, anchored by a full-size Frigidaire Professional double fridge and freezer — the kind of setup that actually fits a week's worth of groceries for twelve, plus the wine fridges downstairs with its own kitchenette. There's room for multiple cooks, a generous island for prep and pre-dinner drinks, and clear sightlines to the lake so whoever's cooking never feels like they're missing the party.
