Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Simple, rustic stay for quiet, low-impact guests. This is not a hotel—expect a basic setup with a bunkie, outhouse, inflatable hot tub and seasonal shower. The loft is small and accessed by a steep ladder. Insects, wildlife, and temperature changes are part of the environment. If you’re comfortable with a no-frills, back-to-basics experience, this can be a great fit.

The space
Situated on a 1-acre property in a quiet rural area, with neighboring homes approximately 175 feet away. The cabin is located about 85 feet from the owner’s house, separated by privacy screens.

Featuring an open yard setting with privacy panels, the proximity to the main house allows us to provide reliable electricity and water services. Some ambient traffic noise may be heard from nearby Highway 6.

Neighbourhood highlights

Our property is set on a spacious, rural lot with neighbors located 175 feet to the North and South. To the East and West, there are no nearby homes. For a better sense of the area, please take a look at our photo gallery.

While our main house (where we live) is on-site, the surrounding space offers plenty of privacy. The lot is bordered by trees and backs onto a large forest with trails accessible directly from the yard. You’ll find ample green grass and open space to enjoy during your stay.

A few important notes:

• We’re located off a busy highway, so you will hear passing vehicles during the day.

• At night, the area becomes very quiet as traffic slows and any nearby farming activity ends.

• Since there are no streetlights or nearby towns, it gets extremely dark at night—bring a flashlight for the evening!

I moved to Williamsford in October 2020 with my wife and children. We then started building up our homestead and online businesses in an effort to take life at a slower pace by earning a living right off our land.
