- Outdoor fire pit and BBQ for cozy evenings under the stars
- Picnic table and Muskoka chairs for enjoying meals surrounded by nature

Why off-grid cabins? Because the average person spends over 5 hours a day on their phone. We need to spend more time with the people we love making memories.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I light a fire?
We love for our guests to get to experience building and lighting their own heat outdoors in the fire pit.
We provide you with a bag of wood complementary. Any additional wood needed can be purchased at the shop between regular shop hours at a cost of $12 per bag.
Can we burn candles?
No, real candles can knock over and with a wood cabin can pose a risk to you and your companion(s). Your cabin is equipped with artificial candles and lanterns for your safety and convenience.
What if I forgot something?
Guest services are here to help provide the best possible experience. If you are having trouble locating something in the cabin or forgot something you can speak with guest services and they will do their best to inform, assist or supply.
How do I book the shower facilities?
We understand that guests joining us for longer stays will want access to the indoor plumbing and shower facilities. This is accessible through the main reception (shop) area. As it can be a busy area during regular business hours we ask that you book your shower time before 9am or after 530pm for a better experience. Towels can be provided with previously booked times, but we ask that you bring your own toiletries. For those that enjoy the authentic outdoors experience we do have a beautiful swimming pond - we do ask that you use only soaps and products that are kind to the environment and biodegradable.
It’s hot, how do I cool down?
Your cabin is off grid, so we ask that you bring a portable fan if needed. We also recommend closing the windows during the day and opening them up during the evening as the cabins are insulated to support the change in weather and maintain a comfortable temperature.

While you are off-grid, you have quick access to a road that can take you to the nearest town that is 8 minutes away.

The cabins do not have wifi - this is intentional and with the desire to help people digitally detox. cell signal is accessible, but some people do find in the treed area (like any wooded area) that cell signal can be spotty.
