Escape to our newly-built and meticulously cleaned family-friendly cottage nestled right on the shores of beautiful Lake Eugenia. Designed for comfort and relaxation, this bright and modern retreat is perfect for families or small groups looking to unwind in nature — with all the comforts of home.
Please note that parties are not permitted at the cottage. Noise travels quickly over the water, and we are committed to maintaining a peaceful and relaxing environment for our neighbours.
The space
Our cottage is located in the heart of Grey Highlands. You’ll enjoy easy access to some of the area’s most popular destinations:
Blue Mountain Village – ~30 minutes
Thornbury – ~25 minutes
Beaver Valley Ski Club – ~10 minutes
Eugenia Falls & Bruce Trail Access – ~5 minutes
Collingwood – ~35 minutes
Flesherton (shops, food, gas) – ~10 minutes

Our cottage has two levels—a main floor and a lower level—with a total of four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms arranged as follows:
MAIN LEVEL:
1st Bedroom: King Bed + Tallboy Dresser, Double Dresser + Desk with two chairs + TV with Roku + walk-out to deck
Ensuite Bathroom: Double Vanity, Curb-less Shower with rain and handheld showerhead
Powder Room: Single Vanity
LOWER LEVEL:
2nd Bedroom: King Bed + Dresser
3rd Bedroom: Queen Bed + Twin Bed + Dresser
4th Bedroom: Two Twin Bunk Beds + 2 Tallboy Dressers

The laundry room is located on the lower level and includes a washer and dryer for your convenience.
We love animals but we chose to make this home pet-free due to many people being allergic, please respect that.
We are located in a friendly and welcoming community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to other people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM noise should be kept to a minimum. No loud parties allowed at anytime.
The cottage is on a septic system, so please only flush toilet paper—no wipes, hygiene products, or other materials.
The cottage is equipped with Starlink high-speed satellite internet, providing fast and reliable Wi-Fi for streaming, remote work, and staying connected—even in this peaceful lakeside setting. Please note that while Starlink is generally very reliable, brief interruptions can occasionally occur due to weather or satellite repositioning.
There are 3 TVs (master bedroom, living room and basement) at the cottage equipped with Roku Smart TVs in Guest Mode for your convenience. This allows you to log in with your own streaming accounts (like Netflix, Disney+, etc.) and automatically log out on your checkout date—no need to worry about leaving your info behind.
The kitchen features modern appliances, including an induction stove, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and a wine fridge to keep your beverages chilled. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook like a chef! You'll find a coffee maker, toaster, mixing bowls, baking trays and dishes, pots and pans, —plus all the essential tools to prepare and serve gourmet meals with ease. Whether you're whipping up breakfast or hosting a lakeside dinner, you’ll have what you need. Downstairs, you’ll also find a beverage fridge and a bar counter—perfect for entertaining or relaxing.
Enjoy your meals around our custom 10' harvest dining table that comfortably seats 12 guests indoors, plus 4 counter stools at the kitchen island. Outside, a second 10' harvest table on the deck seats 12, perfect for lakeside dining, and includes a BBQ for your grilling enjoyment. Enjoy relaxing lakeside lunches at the waterfront patio, complete with a sun umbrella for shade on bright, sunny days.
For your convenience, we provide premium bedding and linens, bath and beach towels, kitchen towels, as well as hand soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, decaf coffee, Nespresso coffee pods — everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Please remember to bring your own sunblock and bug spray to make the most of your time outdoors and stay comfortable during your stay.
A fire pit is available for roasting marshmallows, with sticks provided. Please bring your own fire starter and wood.
Our newly-built cottage was designed with your health and comfort in mind. It features a modern HVAC system with central air conditioning and heating.
For water quality, we’ve installed a water softener, UV-treated purification system, and a reverse osmosis drinking water tap, ensuring safe, clean, and great-tasting water throughout your stay.
Your comfort is our top priority. In the unlikely event of a power interruption, our home is equipped with a state-of-the-art automatic generator that ensures an uninterrupted experience. The system powers all essential amenities—including climate control, lighting, Wi-Fi, kitchen appliances, and security systems—so you can continue enjoying your stay without disruption. Discreet and quiet, the generator engages automatically with no action required, allowing you to relax and unwind with complete peace of mind.
We welcome environmentally conscious guests and are happy to support those traveling with electric vehicles. The cottage is equipped with a NEMA 14-50 outlet for EV charging—just bring your own charging cable to plug in and charge during your stay.
Your safety is our top priority. The cottage is equipped with two fire extinguishers—one in the kitchen and one on the lower level near the back sliding doors—as well as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed throughout the home in compliance with local bylaws.
We provide 2 paddleboards, 5 kayaks (2 child, 2 adult singles, 1 tandem), and a selection of life jackets for your convenience. Use is at your own risk—please wear a life jacket at all times and ensure proper fit, especially for children. We are not liable for accidents or equipment misuse.
Enjoy lawn games on our spacious waterfront yard, including bocce ball, a volleyball net with ball, and badminton with net and racquets—perfect for fun-filled outdoor activities.
We offer a large selection of board games and books to keep you entertained on rainy days, plus a ping pong table, foosball table, and guitar for fun and relaxation.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the cottage, except for two locked storage rooms in the lower level and the attached and detached garages.
Other things to note
A digital guidebook will be shared with you prior to check-in, containing everything you need for a smooth stay—including check-in and check-out instructions, property details, and recommendations for local attractions. Please follow the check-out procedures carefully—failure to do so may result in an extra cleaning charge of $40/hour + HST.
🚫 No Unregistered Guests & Parking Rules
Only the guests included in the original booking are permitted on the property—no additional or unregistered guests are allowed at any time.
Please park only in the designated spots:
2 spaces directly in front of the attached garage
4 spaces in front of the detached garage (located at the top of the hill, accessible by stairs leading down to the house)
This gives a total of 6 parking spaces. Parking outside these areas is not permitted and may be in violation of local bylaws.

We kindly ask that guests treat our cottage as they would their own home—with care and respect for the space, the lake, and our neighbours.

Lake Eugenia is a beautiful spot for swimming, but please note that it can occasionally be subject to swim advisories issued by Public Health Grey Bruce. Before swimming, you can check the latest advisories on the Grey Highlands website.
