The space
ƎMOH Escape is a thoughtfully designed one-room bunkie nestled on a private, wooded corner of our property. Located just steps from our home, the space offers the perfect balance: it feels quiet, secluded, and completely immersed in nature without being remote.

Outdoor Living & Water Access:

Private Amenities: Your exclusive space includes a fire pit for starry nights 🔥, a BBQ, and a rustic seating area.

Exploration: Wander the short paths through the woods or take a longer walking loop featuring a mix of quiet back roads and snippets of forest, waterfront trails right from the property.

The "Off-Grid" Charm: Includes a clean, well-maintained outhouse (no indoor plumbing or shower inside the outhouse), true to the authentic cabin experience.

Inside the Bunkie:
Everything you need for a comfortable, minimalist stay:

Flexible Sleeping: The bed easily converts to suit your needs: one single, two singles, or a spacious King.

Tech & Comfort: Smart TV with Wi-Fi and streaming access. Perfect for remote work and midweek stays.

Kitchenette: Essentials for light cooking and your morning coffee ritual ☕.

Fresh Water: There is a small sink and 5 gallons of fresh water provided per stay (refills available upon request).

Location Highlights:

Paddling & Fishing: Minutes to the Mississippi River, Stump Lake, and Miller Lake.

Adventure Hub: Close to the K&P Trail for hiking, cycling, or UTVs.

Local Culture: 30 minutes to historic Perth for restaurants, cafés, and boutique shops. Recommendations are available upon request!

Nature’s Theater: Excellent wildlife viewing (frequent deer sightings!) and incredible stargazing 🌌.

This is a true nature escape—expect birdsong, rustling leaves, and seasonal elements like mosquitoes in the summer.

Guest access
Guests at the Bunkie have access to their private amenities on the property. While the Bunkie is located close to our home, guests have exclusive private access to their own seating area and fire pit.

Other things to note
🐶 Pets are Welcome!
We love animals and are happy to host up to 2 pets per stay. To help us keep the bunkie pristine for all guests, a pet fee of $50 per pet, per stay, will be added automatically to your total when you include them in your reservation.

Our Resident Dog:
Please note that we have a friendly, medium-large dog who lives on the property. While you may hear an occasional "hello" bark, he is friendly and stays in his own area.

Off-Grid Living:
To maintain the authentic "unplugged" experience, the bunkie uses a well-kept outhouse. There is no indoor plumbing or shower inside the outhouse, but there is a small sink inside the Bunkie. We provide 5 gallons of fresh water for your stay (and are happy to refill it upon request!).

Nature & Wildlife:
This is a true woodland escape. Expect beautiful deer sightings and starry nights, but also seasonal elements like mosquitoes in the warmer months. We recommend bringing repellent and your sense of adventure!
