The space
Experience the vintage charm of living in a 1912 rustic retreat, fully furnished in antiques. Every bedroom takes you back with antique cosy comfortable beds, desks, and private sitting areas. Guest access
You have access to the main floor and upstairs areas and only rooms that are booked. The home is 2100 square feet and includes an open gourmet fully equipped kitchen with a cosy family room and attached large dining room. A lovely sunroom is set up for games and morning coffee. The great room has a grand curved staircase, vintage fireplace and adorned with caribou and bearskin. The two bathrooms have vintage tubs and antique fittings. The large private upper hall is filled with paintings and you can escape down a secret back staircase. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs with a hall. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and a bathroom off a private hall.

Outside there is a wooded 1/2 acre property for your use. A secluded patio hosts a large brick fireplace surrounded by Adirondack chairs and an outdoor adobe oven for baking pizza or bread. We have two bikes for your use, if you like. Ample free parking.

Everything you need is available within a five minutes walk.

Other things to note
Scheduled laundry is available onsite. There is a cat named 'Jack' who stays with me in a separate basement suite on the property. Small and medium sized dogs who are trained are welcome also. We do have hardwood floors, so we appreciate their nails being cut. Inquire about large dogs to see if an arrangement can be made - our concern is simply delicate furniture on the property and excessive shedding. Please also provide bedding for your pets as they are not to sleep on the beds please.

There is a separate Antique store on the property which is open 12-5 on weekends.

Meet your hosts

I spend too much time: Fishing
Speaks English
I have worked with Antiques my entire life and have fully restored my 1912 home to its original Arts and Crafts style. I have been so impressed by my stay at B&Bs throughout my travels in Europe that I decided to open my home to you. A life time of work has gone into the preservation of this craft and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
