The space
We do have 2 identical rooms for 2 available to book. Our property is a beautiful acre in a quiet rural neighbourhood, 5 minutes to Comox. The whole area is built on glacial sand, ours comes with a 50 ft sand dune and sand pines to keep the 1 acre property private. Gated and fenced, chickens for eggs and dogs for love. Free parking, comfortable, cozy, well-equipped rooms, free wifi, outdoor patios. Walk out the gate to the beach and the Lazo Marsh trails. Minutes drive to Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland, Royston, Mt Washington, which are all filled with wonderful eateries and brew pubs. The area is filled with trails, world renowned mountain biking, kayaking, scuba and ongoing festivals, brew pubs and markets. Minutes to Comox Airport and Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Comox. I will provide a manual with my picks and links.
Guest access
Private and self-contained guest unit and patio area, supplied with andirondack chairs, dining table and chairs, sun umbrella. Private entrance, new door PIN code provided to each guest for security.
Other things to note
This quiet and safe rural neighbourhood features little light pollution. That means, you can see the stars at night. I live on site.
We have chickens, including a rooster, named Ross, who is locked up until about 7 am in the summer and 8 am in the winter. Expect him to say "hello".
These units are not cooking units, as they are part of my home, albeit locked-off and have their own private entrances. They do have mini-refrigerators and dishes and cold food prep items.
The property has 2 free-ranging dogs (let us know if you are not dog people, so we can arrange their outdoor times differently.

Quiet neighbourhood. Rural. Near airport - not under the flight path, however CFB Comox practices touch and goes and airshow moves at certain times of year, affecting every residence in the Comox Valley. This may result in low-flying military aircraft such as helicopters, the Canadian Snowbirds, F18's and the Kingfisher, plus others from time to time.
