Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Some info has been automatically translated.
Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside.
The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct).

Perfect getaway any time of the year.

The space
This cute & cozy studio apartment on the lower level of the Log Cabin has rustic and natural charm.

There is a lot of wildlife outside your door, including bluejays, chipmunks, and deer that wander the property.

This beautiful cabin is close to local trails and the magnificent scenery of Petroglyphs Provincial Park, Eels Creek (High Falls), and, of course, the famous Stoney Lake.

It is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of life, and you are surrounded by trees and nature. If you are lucky, you will hear the Owls at night while you enjoy the fire, and sometimes, way off in the distance, the lone wolf is howling for its mate.

This cozy studio includes a kitchenette (not a full kitchen), one queen-size bedroom with a 45" TV (Netflix) in the living room, a family room with a second queen-size bed, and a 50" TV with Netflix.

Family room with a pull-out couch.

It includes a fridge, hot plates, an electric skillet, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster oven, a Keurig, an electric fireplace, and a huge custom bathroom (towels provided).

Coffee pods, tea, hot chocolate, plates/bowls, cups and utensils are included.

BBQ utensils, pots, pans and cooking trays are also provided.

Spices, other condiments, maple syrup, and honey are provided.

Utility sink in the bathroom and kitchenette in the family room area. Shampoo and Conditioner provided. Water is safe to drink, and Spring Water is also provided.

Guests have their own private outdoor area with a picnic table, BBQ, and fire pit to sit outside and watch the stars or listen to nature.

Wood is provided for the fire pit.

It is ideal for four people and can sleep up to 6 using the pull-out couch.

In the summer, enjoy Stoney Lake at Quarry Bay Beach (1km down the road) or hiking at Eels Creek (high falls) (3km) and the famous Petroglyphs(across the street).

Fall is incredible with all the colours on the trees, and the Petroglyphs Park is available year-round for hiking. The gates will be closed after Thanksgiving, but hikers are welcome to use the park any time of the day, including winter.

In the winter, I provide snow shoes with poles for the guests to hike at the park.

If you want a sweet, yummy breakfast (weekends only or night before) try the Cinnamon French Toast Casserole-$20 for 2 or $ 30 for the larger one that feeds 4+.

Cheese and Bacon Quiche $20.

Check out my whiskeymaplecake com if you want to order a yummy whiskey maple cake.

Guest access
Guests have their own separate entrance on the ground floor to the studio apartment to get into the cozy studio flat with plenty of parking. There are no stairs, so it provides easy accessibility. It does NOT include the entire cabin.

The Log Cabin studio is a perfect getaway and can be enjoyed anytime. Wildlife is right outside your door, so please bring peanuts. The wildlife loves them. There is a mini picnic table for the chipmunks in the tree, so you can place the peanuts there.

Other things to note
If you bring your pets, though, they must stay on a leash at all times, as there is considerable wildlife in the area.

Extra pillows and extra blankets are provided.

Deer pass through the property, so hopefully, you will see some during your stay.

To all my guests, I want to make your stay extra special. Whiskey Maple Cakes and other delicious treats are available to order. Hopefully, you will see some deer, turkeys and lots of little chipmunks. Bring Peanuts, as the birds and chipmunks love them. They will eat out of your hand. I love meeting new people and want to share the Log Cabin feel, as it's pretty special, especially living right by the Petroglyphs.
