It's my house that I live in: warm and quiet with an in-ground pool and spa. Located a stone's throw from Lac des Deux-Montagnes, it is a perfect place for people looking to relax.

I offer, at my home, upstairs, the possibility of renting a wonderful room with everything you need to feel welcomed.

This is clearly a perfect room for a couple on vacation in Quebec, for a couple on a getaway or for a single person who wants to get away from the big city.
As you can see in the photos, Chez Gaétan, you have access to a patio which overlooks a large in-ground swimming pool which is very pleasant during the hot summer days and a spa which is functional all year round. Even when it's minus 30 degrees!
My house that I like to share with the passing traveler is the wonderful calm of the countryside while being only 45 minutes from downtown Montreal or, even, 45 minutes from the Laurentians and the city of St. Saviour.
In addition, I am 5 minutes by bike from Parc d'Oka. There, there are plenty of outdoor spaces with a magnificent beach and incredible sunsets. There is also a beautiful wooded area with cycle paths so you can take a stress-free walk.
You can also climb Calvary and have a splendid view of the region.
For weddings or receptions, I am also, among other things, 7 minutes from the Jude Pomme orchard.
In short, everything is there to break away from the daily grind and make your vacation a wonderful time.
Finally, you are alone or as a couple, you don't have a car, but you want to get out of the city, I can easily pick you up at the REM Deux-Montagnes station or at the St-Eustache bus terminal.
Montmorency metro, bus 8 and presto! for a few dollars, I'll take you to Oka!

At home, travelers are like friends; they have access to the common areas of the house; that is to say in the kitchen, the dining room and the living room. There is a private bathroom on the first floor and a powder room on the second all to themselves.
In summer, you have access to the BBQ on the patio, the swimming pool and the spa. There are deck chairs for relaxing in the garden. You have beach towels available in the rooms and the spa is accessible all year round.
The upstairs is air conditioned with a 10,000 BTU portable air conditioner for greater comfort when episodes of high heat occur.
If you need anything in particular, don't hesitate to ask, I will try to help you as much as possible.
The important thing for me is that your stay with me is as pleasant as possible.

For couples or individuals without a car, I can also pick you up at the Deux-Montagnes REM station or the St-Eustache bus terminal, making a wonderful weekend getaway possible for couples or simply for relaxing and enjoying the countryside.

Last summer, I welcomed many cyclists who set off from Montreal, passing through the Lachine Canal, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Vieux Vaudreuil, and Hudson, before taking the ferry to Oka. A wonderful ride, with the option of a pool or spa at the end.
What could be better?
I can also provide some bicycles from my garage for you to explore Oka and the surrounding area. Located near a bike path and just steps from access to the shores of Lake of Two Mountains, everything is in place to make your stay enjoyable and allow you to truly unwind. NOTICE FOR THE SPA
You have access to the spa, but it is forbidden to add any products to it. The water is perfectly calibrated by me.
If I need to drain the spa, a $100 fee will be charged.
I'm mentioning this because I had a guest who added bubble bath to the spa, thinking it would make her skin softer…
I didn't think I'd need to include this kind of notice.
