This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
The perfect spot for fishing trips and as a base to explore the area. Make yourself at home in our bright and spacious apartment. You will have everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, Netflix, washer/dryer, & full bathroom.

Located in the peaceful, coastal community of Coal Harbour.

5 minute walk to the dock, convenience store, and a local restaurant.
30 mins to the airport
15 mins to Port Hardy
10-15 mins to Quatse Hatchery

The space
The apartment is in peaceful Coal Harbour in a quiet fourplex set back from the road behind some trees.

The inside is light and bright with lots of space for solo travellers, couples, and families. There is a full, eat-in kitchen and large sofas in the living room. A back door off the living room leads out to the shared backyard, where you may encounter deer and many species of birds.

The beds are new to help you get a restful night’s sleep. There is ample storage in the bedroom dressers and closets.

The harbour/boat launch, float plane hanger, and a small museum is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Guest access
Guests may use the entire private two bedroom apartment and may access the shared backyard. There is also a front porch with a couple of seats that gets the afternoon sun.

Other things to note
Coal Harbour is a 15 minute drive from Port Hardy which is where the closest grocery store is located. We have a small convenience store and a restaurant in Coal Harbour.

It serves as a marine hub and launch point for fishing, boating, kayaking, and camping in the surrounding wilderness areas. The community has a history as a mining town, military base, and whaling station, and is also home to a growing artisan community.

Quatsino First Nations operate a Marina in Coal Harbour that has serviced moorage, public washrooms, showers and a laundromat. The marina is the ideal place to launch a kayak before you start exploring all that Coal Harbour has to offer.
