This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
The perfect spot for fishing trips and as a base to explore the area. Make yourself at home in our bright and spacious apartment. You will have everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, Netflix, washer/dryer, & full bathroom.
Located in the peaceful, coastal community of Coal Harbour.
5 minute walk to the dock, convenience store, and a local restaurant.
30 mins to the airport
15 mins to Port Hardy
10-15 mins to Quatse Hatchery

The space
The apartment is in peaceful Coal Harbour in a quiet fourplex set back from the road behind some trees.
The inside is light and bright with lots of space for solo travellers, couples, and families. There is a full, eat-in kitchen and large sofas in the living room. A back door off the living room leads out to the shared backyard, where you may encounter deer and many species of birds.
Both beds are new to help you get a restful night’s sleep. There is ample storage in the bedroom dressers and closets. The sleeping arrangements are one King-size bed and one Queen size bed. Please verify the number of beds meets the needs of your group before booking.
The harbour/boat launch, float plane hanger, and a small museum is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
Guest access
Guests have an entire private two bedroom apartment. Each apartment has a couple of seats on the front porch which gets the afternoon sun.
Guests may use the shared backyard where there is a firepit (usage is at your own risk and must comply with local firebans), and a large picnic table for dining al fresco.
Other things to note
Coal Harbour is a 15 minute drive from Port Hardy which is where the closest grocery store is located. We have a small convenience store and a seasonal restaurant in Coal Harbour, although the hours are subject to change.
We recommend that you pick up groceries either in Port Hardy or further down the island for more selection (eg. Campbell River) if you are driving.
