House vacation rentals in Greater Madawaska

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

One of the best places we've ever stayed on vacation! The house was beautiful and kept very clean. So much character and history. Peter and Darlene were gracious hosts, very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. Would absolutely stay there again!

5 of my best friends enjoyed a 50th birthday getaway to The Sheldon Manor immensely! The manor is breathtakingly decorated and any possible needed amenity is there. We enjoyed dips in the hot tub and loads of giggles in the sunroom. The manor is perfectly located a short drive to either Perth OR Newboro & Westport for a little girl's shopping and or wineing and dining. All the ladies want to come back in the summer to enjoy the swimming pool. I cannot recommend The Sheldon Manor enough for your next to stay!

Cool space with tons to do - spent a lot of time enjoying the hot tub and pool table. Close enough to Ottawa that an Uber is reasonably priced if you wanted to go into the city for an evening.

Host is responsive and accommodating, place is clean, spacious and quiet. Kitchen is fully equipped to use, utensil-wise (no salt/pepper/spices). Thank you for a great, last-minute stay.

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! This was one of the best cottages / Lake house we have ever stayed at. Very large. Clean and modern. The host left us small Christmas / new year gifts for the children. Great special touch. Very responsive and accommodating and inviting. Very high end and well stocked kitchen. Great for our large group. We had no issues of any kind. We had a great few days and will definitely be back at some point soon.

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage! The setting is peaceful and private. The large deck supplied with paddle board/kayaks, the dock, and the fire pit were highlights. We had lots of fun swimming and paddling around the lake, which was clear and quiet. The cottage is more on the rustic side, but is as shown in the photos. Would absolutely love to stay here again!! The hosts provided very clear instructions on check-in and check-out, and were quick to respond to messages.

Very serene, private location with a fabulous deck to immerse yourself in nature. The leaves were very colorful, and we saw a family of 4 deer in the front yard! What an experience! The cottage is a beautifully restored farm house with updated conveniences as well as some personalized rustic touches, for example the sink in the bathroom is magnificent, and the dining table is huge and hand crafted so food could be served at one end and our pre schooler could work on puzzles at the other end. We enjoyed several campfires where our grandson roasted marshmallows for the first time. The cottage was well decorated and furnished, and very comfortable, especially for a multi generation family; it was even equipped with "fairy lights" in an upstairs bedroom. We had such a great time enjoying new adventures every day. Thank you Victoria for sharing your lovely rural property. We definitely plan on returning next year. The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Rita's place was excellent - extremely comfortable for our group of six people, with lots of space and great accommodations. Everything needed was available, and Rita herself was a great communicator, providing clear instructions and answering all our questions. Her place is also absolutely beautiful - we would love to come back!

We were a masters xc ski team in for some races and the House and Host were amazing. The house was cozy; they had the fire going for our arrival and the kitchen was set up to cook for our large group. The host was very attentive to help us get to where we needed to go during the snow storm, digging us out every day. The house had a wonderful character about it and made us all feel comfortably at home. We will rent this place again for our next trip/race to the area.

Natasha’s place was beautiful! Lots of sleeping arrangements to accommodate a lot of people. Beautiful pond with boats available. The game room was awesome as well. Would highly recommend

What a hidden gem in the heart of Perth. This property gives the feel of being in a countryside estate, with astounding views from all rooms. Nestled in the trees, surrounded by the sounds of a flowing river, and as quiet as can be. 1 minute walk to the famous Stewart Park, boutiques, restaurants and amazing kids play area. The actual home is breath taking. The character of the old stone cottage has been maintained, while every corner of the home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, creative, clean, charismatic, and inviting. 3 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, massive bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything for a chef! The living room is bright with stunning views of the river. Perfect home for anyone to enjoy in any season. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful. Would stay here forever!

We had a wonderful reunion with 6 ladies. Hennie’s place was perfect as nobody had to share a bed! Very well equipped kitchen. We had a power outage - very windy and stormy - and family members were very attentive and brought us candles and flashlights. Would

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

We had a great stay! Played a lot of ping pong and spent time in the hot tub. It was a nice relaxing weekend away in a beautiful location

Vijay and Latha are the amazing hosts and the property is beautiful and homely. The hosts always responded quickly and the property was spot clean with all the listed amenities. We look forward to visiting the property again in different season.
