Beach house vacation rentals in Encinitas

This beach house was wonderful. It was very accessible to all areas- food, bars, entertainment. You can walk to Belmont in 7 min or go to the R in PB with a 6 minute Uber ride. The house has all great amenities. They had bikes and water equipment to use. There are 2 parking garages so it helps with big groups. Along with that, the beds are comfortable and clean! I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing!! The best views, the best walking, and the spaces in the house are perfect for a group. We made dinner in and watched the sunset every night. We also brought our 6 month old son and it was a great location to be “nap trapped.”

Michael was a great host. I really appreciated the opportunity to check in early even though it didn’t work out. I also appreciated the fast and efficient communication. The house was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again for your hospitality!

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

Mike was awesome. My family and I are from near Pasadena CA. Mike was awesome in making us feel welcomed in lieu of the unfortunate fires in LA county. His house was beautiful. The view of the ocean was exactly what we wanted. As a plus, the spot was near a brewery (walking distance) where they had amazing coffee and food. We were also about 20 mins from downtown, and a short drive to nearby stores like Costco and Target. Thanks Mike for everything!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful and sparkling clean house, plenty of space and right across the street from Terramar Point, a great surf break. We could see dolphins and seabirds from the large windows of the house. One night we ordered delivery and ate watching the sunset from the rooftop! Anthony and Amanda were so kind and helpful. Lots of great restaurants in Carlsbad. We especially enjoyed dinner one night at Campfire. Incredible food and service. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at this ocean view home! The location is just steps from the shore with breathtaking ocean views from every angle. The house itself is incredibly spacious, offered plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably and had good parking. Everything was clean upon arrival, and the host Sandra was responsive. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for three weeks. It was wonderful. The place was neat and cozy. Walkable to restaurants, stores, museums, and, thrilling to this midwesterner, about a 90 second walk to the beach. Felt totally safe walking around at night. Communication with Rachel was great, and Pete who managed the property responded immediately and was full of helpful suggestions, from where to order pizza to where to get my car fixed. Really enjoyed my stay, and would love to return some day!

Our multigenerational family of six enjoyed our stay at Dan’s Oceanside home, and we will definitely stay here again. If you value privacy, safety, and comfort, you will love Dan’s place for you and your family. We are a no pet, no smoking, no alcohol drinking, no shoes indoors, environmentally conscious family and Dan’s clean, comfortable, safe, and relaxing home was the perfect find. If you enjoy cooking like we do, the kitchen is well equipped with excellent quality cookware and appliances. The house does not have central AC but there are ceiling fans, which we used, and portable fans (which we didn’t need to use) as the house gets a nice breeze throughout. If you are sensitive to sound, you can definitely hear some minimal noise from nearby highway and trains, but nothing we couldn’t tolerate. Hot tub operation is remotely controlled and requires contact with Dan to be heated. House manual with information/rules to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay, is respectful of property

Our second stay here and we will certainly be back. It’s a great place and we felt right at home! Location cannot be beat - near the beach and the village.

Our family of 5 have been going down to Solana Beach to vacation for 5+ years and we have stayed at Del Mar Beach Club several times. This was by far the best stay we have had. The unit was clean, organized, and fully stocked, which we appreciate. The views of the ocean from the backyard and guest rooms were beautiful and the unit is a short walk from the beach. Alyssa and Lars were extremely responsive but we really didn’t need to reach out much as the condo was turnkey. We had a great 6 days and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had such a great Spring Break stay at Tamarack Palms with our two young kids and our pup. The yard and heated pool were the stars—our kids were thrilled to have so much space to play, and even though the weather was cool, the heated pool made it easy to enjoy time outside every day. The location was ideal—peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood and just minutes from the beach, Carlsbad Village, and essentials like Von’s. It made daily outings and grocery runs super convenient. Inside, the home was clean, stylish, and well laid out. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family, and having a washer and dryer made the whole trip easier. The main living space is cozy but functional, and we felt right at home. Our host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and accommodating. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. No negatives at all—just a peaceful, well-located family stay. We’d absolutely stay again.

We loved our stay - the pool and spa were so great for us and our kids, the house was beautiful and clean and the beds were comfy! And Michelle and Nicholas were very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend.

All I can say is that Cynthia is a great host, and a decent human being. It's a nice house it doesn't bother me that it's HOA but I got complaints from my partner about that. HOA doesn't bother me, it wasn't like we were going to have a wild party. Cynthia's house is everything that you could expect on a vacation, and the mattress in the master bedroom was like sleeping on air. You might have to travel a bit to eateries and fun but it's peaceful and homie when you return to Cynthia's home unfortunately it was cold so we did not go swimming but I have absolutely no complaints. I said she's a decent human being because I lost something and she was willing to ship it back to me. A blessing to have people like her in this world.

This was exceptional. We have rented many places and this was the best. Views of the ocean were incredible and could be easily enjoyed from the living and dining rooms and the porch. The furniture was comfortable and the space was sparkling clean. There was incredible storage space and hooks to meet all of our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to enjoy fresh fish without going out for every meal and the food stand outside on the street was convenient.

This homes location was absolutely perfect, and our family appreciated and enjoyed the ample outdoor space so much. The home was quite clean upon check in, and I very much appreciated that it was ready early in the day for us. Denise and Genny were a pleasure to communicate with. To preface, we are a family consisting of 2 adults, a toddler, a newborn and a dog, so we very likely have more belongings than the standard travelers! However, a few items as a longer stay family that I would have appreciated as additions: a closet where I could hang clothing (the closet provided had shelving only), some spices / oils / basics in the kitchen, and a few additional pieces of furniture in the living area (think hooks for jackets, a shoe rack, a small credenza to place things on, etc.). These small details did not at all take away from the incredible experience we had at this home, and we would gladly come back if the opportunity presented.

These were amazing days in an outstanding place. The house is e exactly as described and the location is perfect if you want to sit and relax looking the sunset. Couldn’t be more appropriate to what we were looking for. House was very clean and had everything we need.

We really appreciated what a gorgeous view this property had. It was incredible to just be able to watch the sunset. The host were accommodating and flexible and let us check in early. This property is also fantastic with children, you could just walk right outside and play the sand and walk the pier and walk along beach. We weren’t able to swim or wade in the water due to sewage, which is kind of disappointing, but that’s not the property’s fault. The fridge and kitchen were well stocked, lots of towels, soap, garbage bags, etc. Cons: the public bathroom is directly next-door and you can hear people in the bathroom and flushing, as well as the public spotlights shine in the property 24/7. Also, if you are sensitive to mold, the older style windows weep and have a lot of mold on them. Lastly, 2 out of 4 bed frames are broken, squeaky and thus uncomfortable. Even with those things, I would definitely return. Location and view 10 out of 10.

We absolutely adored the tiki cottage! It's everything you need for a beach getaway. The back yard, with high walls and tons of foliage, gives you unmatched privacy—perfect for the hot tub. We also loved using the grill. Highly recommended!

Steve + Nikki were incredibly sweet hosts! This airbnb is exactly what I was hoping for and more! Great location, easy walk to beaches and restaurants/coffee shops, amazing backyard, pristine interior with everything you could possibly need. They really did an incredible job. The location is awesome. It’s two minutes walking distance from the famous life guard tower 9 that sits next to the beach. It’s also about 5 minutes walking distance from the Better Buzz Coffee. The inside is very spacious and very beautiful. The terrace comes with a table and fireplace to cook s’mores in. The ocean view from the terrace. And the garage parking space is amazing. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10.

We had such a blast at Danielle’s place. She gave us so many ideas of what to do with our family while there. The location was walkable to the darling downtown area. The view of the lagoon is beautiful! Communication with Danielle was easy. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great stay!
