Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Beds are made with linen and throws. Supper cozy

Come and stay in my lovely yurt. It's in a gorgeous spot with a sea view, and is a beautiful, cosy space. I'm new to renting it, but many friends have stayed in it and had a great time, enjoying the peace and quiet and the natural world around it. We live near the coastal village of Auchencairn, on a smallholding. There are many nice coastal walks, the area is good for lots of outdoor activities. Apparently the price doesn't always show in GBP. Click on the globe, top RHS, to change currency.

The Roundhouse, The Lake District

Our Roundhouse is on a working farm with rare breed sheep, cattle and Cumbrian Heavy Horses (come & ride!) Set in a beautiful valley in south west Cumbria, amazing views, a stream running closeby, it's peaceful. Locally, a variety of good pub/restaurants (would recommend having a car though). You’ll love our roundhouse, it has good facilities, see pics, is unique, cosy, romantic, with a wood burning stove, has a stunning location, and is good for couples, friends, outdoor folk; we take dogs😁

Ashkey Yurt, Howdy Glamping, Great Strickland. All our dwellings are in a young woodland planted by Tom and Andri thirty years ago. We are a smallholding with workshops, and a small community of like minded people. We try to live as environmentally friendly and sustainably with solar panels and a reed bed system, polytunnel, veg beds, dogs, hens and horses. The Pheasant Lodge is one of three nearly identical lodges set in a quiet wooded corner of our 20 acre estate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. There are no roads bordering the guest areas so expect a quiet and peaceful stay, surrounded by nature and away from it all! The lodge has no cooking facilities but has a fridge with icebox as well as a selection of tea & coffee.
