Beachfront vacation rentals in Bar Beach

We were warmly welcomed by Andrea and provided an orientation of the house and gardens - which is rare and was appreciated. Andrea provided local restaurant, cafe, coffee and providore recommendations - although I cooked every night in the wonderfully stocked kitchen (with the breeze and view). The house was very clean and tidy. Many thoughtful touches (inclusions) made it special. The house is in a wonderful raised position, with beautiful views and the beach is private and easily accessible via a gate. The house has level access from the road to ground floor / entrance. The whole stay was extremely enjoyable and relaxing. I utilised many of Andrea’s recommendations. Gus (our dog) loved the amenities that were specially for him. He also loved having the beach to himself and the fully secured yard/s (front and rear) reduced my anxiety. Mostly he was happy to sit in the sun / shade on the deck sniffing the breeze watching the world go by. Thank you to the 55 team. Gary + Gus

Caves Beach is a beautiful location and amazing for families. Sue's place was the perfect location - right near the beach with stunning water views and the view of the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The house was big, private and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and hang about. Will definitely be booking this place again for another family holiday.

Absolutely gorgeous stay at The Butler. Such a beautiful, humble beachside home with every amenity you could ask for. The weather was not on our side for half our stay, but there was plenty of board games to keep the little one occupied (and thank god for WIFI). For the days where we had sunshine, the back deck was a favourite - listening to the birds and the waves crashing while reading a book in the sun, it doesn’t get any better. A massive thank you to our hosts, we were lucky with an early check in and throughout our stay they were wonderful and attentive. It’s also worth noting how lovely the Budgewoi community is itself, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We will be back! Thank you again

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.

Great family holiday, the location is great and the pool is fantastic for the kids. Unit itself is a bit dated but it was comfortable enough.

My family and I loved our time at Soldier's Point. Such a beautiful place where you can unwind and relax. The property is spacious and clean and worked perfectly for our family. The little bays/beaches close by are perfect for walks and the view from each is incredible. We hope to come back again for our next holiday!

Nicole’s place was very private and peaceful. I parked the car right outside on the street and never needed to drive anywhere. Everything I needed for a relaxing weekend was within easy walking distance. The beach, communal resort pool, the local pub restaurant, and the beach cafe were all very close by. The room itself was very comfortable, great pillows, modern clean bathroom and lovely private backyard. The overhead fan and A/C made the room temperature pleasant. Nicole was a great communicator. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful home right next to the caves beach. Pool is fantastic and kids loved it so much. Thanks Lakeshore accomodation. We will plan our next trip soon.

Great location - so close to the beach. You can tell Lara has put a lot of thought into the airbnb. There is great finishing, the pool is lovely, aircon, nice appliances and lots of light. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Jing’s spacious ocean-view home in Noraville! The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of space, a great location just a short walk from the beach, and all the amenities we needed for a fun and comfortable getaway. Self-check-in was seamless with the smart lock, and the house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Having such a big space made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy, and the views were a nice bonus! Thanks, Jing, for being a great host. Would absolutely stay again!

Such a gorgeous place for a weekend away! It was so peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was amazing! The attention to detail was lovely too, everything you needed to make a cup of tea, little tea lights/candles and all the other things you could need ☺️ Ric was great to communicate with and provided very clear instructions for access and replied promptly. We would definitely stay here again! 😄

Angela’s place is off the beaten tourist track, and was just what we wanted. It’s in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood with easy access to the beach. The unit is high above the street with views of the surf. We loved it!

Great place to stay! Had lots of kitchen equipment and seasoning ready for home cooked meals. Furniture and room decorations were really nice and aesthetic. It was easy to find and the host greeted us at the door. Overall a very pleasant experience :)

Gail was extremely responsive and accomodating. The place itself is so clean! We felt right at home. Aircon was a treat and the beach was a 2min walk down the road. I highly recommend staying here, and will come again! Thank you Gail :)

My staff have stayed there multiple times... they love it.

We had a wonderful time , it was very peaceful and relaxing. The position of the place was incredible, the ocean at our doorstep and our own private rock jetty with lots of fish to catch and we even were greeted at the jetty by a turtle. This gate at the top was a little tight, especially for a 4x4 we just squeezed through, perhaps making the gate a little wider would be easier for some. This is a place I will most definitely return too. Thank you Prue who was a great host.

Stayed at the place for only Saturday night with partner for a weekend getaway. Was the perfect location - sizable living room, awesome bathroom, patio looking into the ocean. The house is close to the access to beach too so very convenient. Watched the moonrise from the ocean and sunrise on the next day morning. Peaceful and joyful.
