This cottage is located on the same property as the Cobalt Hideaway Cottage, if you want to have friends/family stay close by they can book it!

The space
One of two custom cottages finished in 2023, with the essence of a tiny house but with more space! Walk into the open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen where you will find the TV and fireplace. The back of the cottage has a bedroom and bathroom, and access to the backyard and deck.

The yard space is ample and fully fenced-in. We are pet-friendly so bring your furry friend!
The kitchen has tons of supplies for cooking. We suggest take-out or visiting one of the many excellent restaurants too! If you are cooking, the stovetop is electric, and we provide plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. Please note there is NO OVEN and NO DISHWASHER. (You will be ok! ;) ) We provide dish towels and tea towels, coffee and tea. The coffee maker is a 12-cup drip coffee maker and we provide filters for it as well.

The bathroom has a beautifully tiled shower with a Moen shower head that can switch function from rain, to massage. The water is on-demand hot water so it won't run out! We provide 4 towels.

This cottage is on the same property and next door to another one very similar- The Cobalt Hideaway Cottage- (click on my profile to find it). Each cottage has its own parking, fenced yard space, BBQ, patios, and Hot Tub, nothing is shared. But if you want to share you can rent them with friends and it is easy to go from one to the other to hang out.
There is a 1900s brick house also on the property, which is currently unoccupied.
Port Dover Beach is super close, only a 15-minute walk away, and we provide a folding wagon for you to use for your supplies! There is so much to do and experience in Port Dover. The beer store and LCBO are also within walking distance.

"Port Dover offers a remarkable array of festivals, beautiful scenery and unique experiences. From surprisingly affordable family fun in the sun to sophisticated dining and acclaimed professional live theatre.
One-of-a-kind shops and boutiques. Heritage hotels and B&Bs. Sandy beaches and a romantic pier. Fancy yachts and fishing tugs. Historical sites and world-famous perch. You’ll leave brimming with great new memories. And find a dozen reasons to come back."

Guest access
Guests have access to a driveway for parking, the entire cottage, their own private fenced- in backyard space with a deck and bonfire, and a small front porch. The guests only have access to the cottage they booked (there are 2 on the property) and do not have any access to the brick house.

Other things to note
The neighbour has dogs and their yard is not fenced so sometimes the dogs visit when guests are arriving and outside of the fenced yard. The dogs have always been ok with people and other dogs, but we know as a dog owners that sometimes this is something to know about depending on your dog!

The brick house on the property is not for guests and is not currently being rented.

The cottage does not have a washer or dryer.
The cottage does not have an oven or dishwasher (there is a stovetop and BBQ with propane included).
