The space
➔This authentic fir & cedar lodge is a Canadian dream-come-true!
Located in a private area of our 3.5 forest-surrounded acres, this home has everything you *need* for your relaxing time away, and everything you *want* for it to be one of the most memorable vacation homes you'll visit.
➔A pristine chef's kitchen, carefully curated art, European bathroom stylings, and new wide-plank flooring showcase every modern comfort in a stylish, comfortable, and warm space. Mid-century modern & minimalist décor offset our beautiful log walls and antique wood stove, creating an atmosphere that is both, in equal parts, rustic & contemporary.
➔This lodge boasts 2000 ft2 of interior space, featuring an enormous lofted sleeping area with panoramic forest views, & Lillooet Lake to the south.
The entire length of our west wall is encompassed by a 400 ft2 screened-in sunroom which perfectly captures the late afternoon rays of sunlight during happy hour. Dine & relax in this space, enjoying the breeze & surrounding forest, while the 350' of fairy lights above guarantee to make your al fresco dinner more memorable than you thought possible. The other three sides of the chalet are all decked as well, ready for your suntanning, bbq-ing, reading, or family card game, at any time of day.
➔Our 6-person hot tub is spacious, sparkling, and perfect. 40 jets, two waterfalls, and LED lighting set the stage for you to reconnect, reminisce and reflect with those you love. We also offer comfortable cotton robes, as well as deck slippers and towels. Watch shooting stars, and slowly shifting constellations as you're serenaded by owls and crickets.
➔We have spared no expense in the outfitting of this chalet, as we are guided exclusively & equally by the policies of trust, and hospitality. We want you to live in this space as we do - this is why you'll not find chipped plates, mismatched sets, or overlooked details. You instead will find a fully stocked kitchen - with over 30 spices, a full compliment of oils, vinegars & cooking/baking sundries, and every tool from a blender to a mandolin for your use. Even the art you see adorning the walls is cherished & curated - from a numbered Lauren Harris print, to original Inuit watercolours and Pacific Coast Salish treasures. Near the fireplace you will hopefully lose many hours in quiet contemplation in our authentic Eames lounger & ottoman (*not* replicas) reading any number of our carefully collected novels left for your perusal in the bookshelves. These books reflect our shared passions of architecture and art, histories spanning topics from rock climbing to economics, and cookbooks from world-renowned Chefs. We look forward to hearing which you've enjoyed most!
➔For the young'uns (or those just young at heart!) we have created a magical fairy garden just a short walk through the woods. Here you'll find fairies, gnomes, critters, and forest animals figurines, as well as a hidden cache of biodegradable fairy dust for your kids to find to make their special wish. For rainy moments, or down-time, we have also created an 8-page forest-themed activity book that offers word-finds, connect-the-dots, colouring pages, and more.
➔From the moment you first reach out to the final correspondence after you depart, our priority as hosts is for you to have a more magical and memorable visit than you could have dreamt was possible. We are available at any time of day for questions or advice, and will settle for nothing less than to make sure you leave more rested, recharged & refreshed than you've ever felt. The honour of our lifetime is to be able to fill yours with lasting memories.

➔An ideal place to relax, recharge, and reflect. We offer a place of quiet solitude to guests from all walks of life.
➔Unfortunately we are not wheelchair-accessible.
➔Due to our remote location, a car is a must
Other things to note
➔we aren't affiliated with the Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, and don't guarantee park access (our cancellation policy holds if the park unexpectedly closes). Please follow BC Parks to ensure you have plenty of notice for closures. Travel insurance is recommended if an unexpected park closure will change your plans to visit.
➔The upper loft is a "2 bedroom" in that the space is divided down the centre with closets, however neither side has a 4th wall (or door), and instead are open towards the railing. We have a movable 5-paneled privacy screen for your use. Please check out photos in the gallery to make sure this works for your crew :)
➔For reasons of liability and insurance, unregistered guests (ie: daytime guests) are not permitted. For an accurate quote, please ensure you've input the correct party size in your request as our base rate includes up to 2 guests. Please inquire for details about photographers/officiants/caterers etc.
➔ Access to our land is off of the road, as such you will hear occasional vehicles drive by.
➔Due to the vaulted gables, there are no window coverings in the loft. If you have young ones who aim to fall asleep before dusk you may wish to bring eye masks.
➔Children still in pull-ups/not potty-trained are not permitted in the tub for reasons of sanitation.
➔Guests agree to use at own risk and take responsibility for the health and safety of all people in their party
➔We do not have regular cable stations, however we provide a huge catalog of DVDs, and a Firestick to steam Netflix, Prime. Disney+ and Crave. .
➔ we gladly accept up to 2 well-behaved, and non-destructive dogs per booking. Please let us know if you have any pups, upon booking request. We aren't able to accommodate cats due to allergies.
