Where you’ll be

Matanzas, Cuba

The apartment is situated between Calle Rio and the river banks of Río San Juan. The front door of the building is steps from Plaza de la Vigia, a pedestrian square with cafes, bars, art galleries and theatre (Teatro Sauto). Also steps from the front door is the Calle Narváez, a pedestrian stretch of bars and cafes along the banks of the river. This is quite lively at night and can also be enjoyed from the rooftop patio. A five minute walk takes you to the shores of the Bay of Matanzas. Although not as pristine a beach as those in Varadero, it is swimmable and there is a paved trail for walking or running. A ten minute walk takes you to the historic Parque de la Libertad, great for architecture, espresso and people watching.

Hi, I'm Ronel, I'm so happy to offer the opportunity to know Matanzas and its history. For reasons I had to move to Canada but we have decided to provide our house as a home for you with the same amenities created for us. A place full of culture, art, and beautiful stories to discover. Located in the historic downtown building building built in 1805 and renovated by us in 2020. We hope you like it.
